Focus: Smarter feedback, early support and predictive insight
Funded by: Innovation Fund Denmark
This year we secured an InnoBooster grant that allowed us to accelerate our work with AI. This was an important moment for us, not just because of the funding, but because it gave us the opportunity to push our wellbeing analytics to the next level.
We are now building AI tools that help institutions spot early signs of struggle and respond with tailored and timely support. Instead of waiting for problems to grow, institutions can identify risk signals earlier, understand their context and offer help right when students need it.
AI is helping us move student wellbeing from something that is reactive to something that is proactive, thoughtful and data-informed.
Focus: Equity, diversity, inclusion and student belonging
In 2025 we were part of two large Erasmus projects focused on improving inclusion and belonging in education. These were the EDI Project and the BelongVET Project.
Working with partners across Europe helped us strengthen the way our platform supports belonging and inclusion. Instead of relying on static EDI metrics, we now help institutions understand belonging as something that changes over time and needs continuous attention.
These collaborations played an important role in making sure StudentPulse is ready to support all students, no matter their background, circumstance or learning context.
Focus: Retention, wellbeing and early intervention
Project: Retention Through Social Sustainability (PSB)
Scale: 11 vocational schools in Central Denmark
Vocational education in Denmark has faced real challenges with dropout rates. Through the PSB Retention Project, we supported 11 vocational schools with frequent wellbeing check-ins and short micro-surveys.
This helped schools identify early signs of disengagement and act faster. When educators can see student struggles in real time, they can offer support long before a student considers dropping out.
This project showed how a pulse-based approach can make retention efforts more human, more timely and more effective.
Focus: Faster insight and more responsive support
Initiative: Smart real-time check-in system
One of our biggest developments this year was the rollout of our real-time check-in system. Institutions no longer need to rely only on large surveys that take months to analyze and act on.
Instead, they can now collect insight throughout the semester and see trends as they evolve. This means:
This shift from static feedback to dynamic insight is helping institutions understand their students in a more meaningful and continuous way.
Focus: A complete system for real-time feedback and student success
Initiative: Bringing AI, analytics and check-ins into one unified experience
In 2025 we refined and strengthened our platform so institutions have everything they need in one place. This included:
We also expanded into new countries and education systems through partnerships, grants and institutional collaborations.
The result is a more powerful and complete student-experience platform that supports both higher education and vocational schools.
Partner institutions are already reporting higher participation, clearer insights and earlier intervention possibilities. These improvements are helping them create stronger learning environments and more supportive student experiences.
2025 was a year of important progress for StudentPulse.
Our work with AI, inclusion, belonging, retention and real-time feedback helped us support institutions in new and more meaningful ways.
StudentPulse is not only a platform. We are a partner that helps institutions understand their students, respond earlier and build stronger systems for wellbeing and success.
With the foundation we built this year, we are ready for an even more ambitious 2026 where quality assurance, student success and modern feedback practices will continue to evolve.
